We never let a Puppy leave here that isn't up to date with it's Vaccinations, but this doesn't mean the Puppy is "Fully Vaccinated" On this Page you will learn the difference in Vaccination vs Immunisation. We lay out our Vaccination schedule, what we vaccinate with and why. Vaccination of a Puppy is simple terms; Vaccination of a 6 week old Puppy, at this young age the majority of the vaccine given will be destroyed by the Natural Antibodies the Puppy has recieved from it's Mothers Milk, we still Vaccinate at this age for a baseline to begin from Vaccination. Each week starting at around 6 weeks of age the Puppy will loose more and more of it's Natural Immunity from Mom, as the Puppy gets older, each Vaccination will be more effective on building the Immunity from Vaccination. Vaccinating a 9 week old Puppy; At 9 weeks the Puppy has lost more Natural Immunity and now due to the lowering of the Natural Antibodies "Titers" the vaccination at this age is more effective. Vaccinating a 12 week old Puppy; At this age the Titers ( Natural Antibodies) are much lower, therefore the Vaccination at this time is more effective, now the Puppy is becoming Immunized not just Vaccinated. It takes 10 to 14 days for the Vaccination to be fully working in the Immune System. Some think ok, he got his 12 week Vaccination, so now he's good to go anywhere today, but no, he still needs up to 2 weeks for the Vaccination to become Immunisation (Immunity) It also matters what Vaccine is given; We Vaccinate with Neopar for Parvo, which is way more effective in younger Puppies over your average Puppy Shot. We Vaccinate with NeoVac DA2 for Distemper-Adenivirus Type 2. It too works more effective in young Puppies. We only give the Core Vaccinations. Parvo, Distemper and Rabies. Our Vaccination Schedule; @ 6 Weeks NeoPar for Parvo @ 9 Weeks NeoPar for Parvo @ 12 Weeks NeoPar for Parvo @ 8 Weeks NeoVac DA2 for Distemper @ 11 Weeks NeoVac DA2 for Distemper We have never had a Puppy have a adverse reaction to the Vaccines we now give, but prior to using Vaccines from NeoTech we had 3 Puppies with very adverse reactions to their Vaccinations. We will only give Vaccines from NeoTech. Rabies; If a Puppy is crossing State lines @ 12 weeks of age or older, it must be Vaccinated for Rabies, otherwise typical Rabies Vaccine is given @ 16 weeks of age. Some Veterinarians will say...well we don't know if this breeder really gave these Vaccines to this Puppy or not, therefore we will just start over. I get so upset when I hear this, it's straight up ignorance, you would Never Start Over, even if the Puppy had no Vaccinations, you would only move forward from that point. It becomes big money for some Veterinarians to just keep Vaccinating your Puppy/Dog. When a Puppy if fully Vaccinated, it's fully Vaccinate. It's like trying to put more gas in your car after it's filled to the top, full is full, letting the gas overflow onto the ground is not filling the tank anymore, again full is full, but you are doing harm pouring gasoline onto the filling station property. Giving Vaccinations over and over is doing harm to the Pet you Love. I have videos below of top Veterinarians in this Country explaining Over Vaccination. Do I give Annual Boosters? No I do not. Should you give Annual Boosters? No Below is a video of Dr. Ronald Schutz, explaining Pet Vaccination, he does not give Annual Boosters to his Dogs either. Dr. Ronald Schultz is pretty much the number 1 Pet Vaccination expert in America. I want you informed with his knowledge before you get my Puppy. Veterinarians know they can run a Titer Test to see if your Pet has Immunity or not, but most prefer to just make the fast dollar and Vaccinate.
